Mind Your Mind

Hi! I’m Candiece and founder of Mind Your Mind.

I’m a mental health and parenting educator with qualifications in psychology and education. I have over 15 years of experience working across education reform, youth wellbeing, and mental health—both in Australia and in the Asia Pacific. I’m also a trained facilitator and have worked with governments, schools, and leading mental health organisations to design and deliver programs that actually work in real life—not just on paper.

Mind Your Mind was born from a gap I kept seeing: people wanting practical and relatable support. In my work and in my own community in regional Victoria, you can wait for months on end for professional help, navigating systems that can often feel overwhelming or out of reach. I wanted to build something that could people where they’re at—with education and support that’s accessible, evidence-based, and grounded in real-world needs.

And then came motherhood and with it a whole new layer of insight.

Nothing really prepared me for the shift that happens when you become a mother. The identity change, the pressure to “bounce back,” the anger that I didn't know I had, the mental load, and the feelings of loneliness, —it hit like a ton of bricks. No one gave me a heads-up on how big the changes really are. And then I was reminded of something that is so incredibly important: mothering was never meant to be done alone. It’s how so many of us are doing it though and it's hard.
Through Mothermind, I offer support, guidance, education, and spaces for mothers to connect honestly, without shame or sugar-coating. Because it’s not you that’s broken, it’s the systems and expectations that set us up to fail.

I’m a certified Motherhood Practitioner through Dr Sophie Brock's Motherhood Studies practitioner program. I bring both lived experience and professional knowledge to this work, with a clear focus: keep it real, keep it useful, and don’t leave mothers behind.

My Core Values
Practicality – No BS; just strategies that work in everyday life.
Compassion – Holding space with care, honesty, and respect.
Empowerment – Knowledge should be accessible and actionable.
Connection – We’re not meant to do this alone—community matters.

If you’re looking for grounded, real-world support, I'd love to work with you
